The newest phase of construction begins at our facility in Dernbach. This expansion will give us another 700 m2 of production space, along with 350 m2 of office and communal space. The addition will add about 40 parking spaces, some of which will be in an underground parking garage beneath the building. With this new expansion, we are setting the course for growth as we plan to greatly expand our capacities on site.
LOGOPART is continuing to invest in modern machinery. Until now, our production had been carried out using innovative machining technology on state-of-the-art 3-axis CNC machines. However, in order to increase our efficiency and expand our capacities, we have acquired our first 5-axis CNC machine which uses a robot to automate production.
LOGOMAT automation (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. benefits from the expansion of the production site in Qingdao, China. Its move from Shanghai to the port city of Qingdao was the first step toward local manufacturing, production, and assembly.
In August of 2019, Matthias & Peter Krups, who founded KRUPS Automation GmbH in 1983, handed over the operational side of the family-owned company to the next generation. This change places the continued success of the company and our innovative products into extremely capable hands as we move toward a new age of modern transport systems.
Our partner company, LOGOPART GmbH, is founded in the Dernbach Industrial Park. LOGOPART is a start-up company that specializes in innovative in-house development of assemblies and products. The newly constructed building features approximately 1,200 m2 of production, and 300 m2 of office space, which offers a great foundation for the company to grow through its formative years.
The facility was designed with expansion in mind; its well thought-out architectural style is easily expandable, and a plan for doubling the production space was factored into the design.
The second stage of the LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. expansion includes adding a new high-precision laser and a 100-ton press brake for all of our bending operations. With our new in-house metal fabrication area, we continue to follow our philosophy of being able to produce every part internally.
LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. expands its North America facility in Hebron, KY with an 11,600 sq foot addition. With the expansion, we gained more than 7,500 square feet which helped to increase organization and work flow. In addition, we were able to add a conveyor display area for our customers.
LOGOMAT automation (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. is officially established in Qingdao, China. This new location allows for direct sales, customer support, and service of our LOGO!MAT Conveyor Systems in China. This is the first step to increasing KRUPS Automation GmbH’s presence in the Asian market.
LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. expands machining capabilities by 20%. This allows more flexibility for in-house production of standard and customer specific machined parts at the Hebron, KY facility. The expansion helps increase production, provide customers with increased reliability, reduction in delivery times, and reduced production costs. To further improve customer service, LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. reorganized its warehouse and streamlined in-house procedures to become more efficient.
LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. is officially represented by Goxin to provide customer service and sales in Brazil.
Philipp Krups takes over as President of LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. in Hebron, KY, providing local management of operations in the U.S.
LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. expands operations to utilize the entire building. Previously, the building was shared. This expansion added approximately 19,400 sq. feet, increasing the manufacturing capabilities at the Hebron, KY, location.
KRUPS Conveyor Systems, Inc. builds a new facility in Hebron, Kentucky, and changes its name to LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. opened its doors as a full-service automation provider offering sales, service, engineering, and manufacturing all in one location. Manufacturing begins in the new spacious facility with the use of more high-tech machinery and an expansion of on hand inventory.
KRUPS Conveyor Systems, Inc. moves to Erlanger, Kentucky. This move allowed for a more centralized location and improved customer service. The new facility allowed for in-house production, customization, and final assembly capabilities of modular conveyor systems including inventory.
KRUPS Conveyor Systems, Inc. opens a sales and service office in Fort Worth, Texas. This location was established to sell, service, and support KRUPS roller conveyor systems for the U.S. market.
