NEW MACHINING CAPABILITIES IN HEBRON, KY

With the addition of our first Okuma lathe, we continue our journey of vertically integrating our production by expanding our internal capabilities.

LOGOMAT continues to grow and invest in new technology. After building an additional facility to gain much needed floor space last year, we added a Mazak 5-axis mill with automation to allow for lights-out production of milled parts. Now, we are adding lights-out machining capabilities for our turned parts as well as the ability to complete finished parts on the machine without human intervention or additional operations. Our new Okuma is set up with a sub-spindle, y-axis, bar feeder, and a parts catcher, which are all new for us. With these features, we now have the volume and capability to machine most of our conveyor components in-house.

It is our goal to improve our costs, lead-times, and add more flexibility within our production. This new addition is just one more step we have taken which will ultimately help us to better support our customers and their needs.

We are looking forward to utilizing our new capabilities to offer our products with even more flexibility to our customers. We also thank our partners for the great support with the purchase, the training and the smooth installation of this machine on our floor.
